SESSION 11: IN-SERVICE LEARNING PROJECT

QUIZ

The In-Service Learning Project

The in-service learning project is one of the most impactful aspects of the T1L1 Program. Your students will see first hand what it means to live by Universal Principles, and you will connect with them on a much deeper level by serving alongside them.

COMING UP WITH SERVICE PROJECT IDEAS

Ask around the community: Giving back locally is usually the most impactful type of project. Look for ways to give back around the immediate vicinity of the T1L1 location. Ask local non-profits, organizations, schools, government agencies, etc. about how you may be of help.

Ask your students: Early in the T1L1 Program, ask the students what they might want to do to give back or if they know of anyone in need. Not only will the students be involved in the planning process, but they will be more engaged in the project itself because they helped come up with it.
